How do I book your services?
To secure your booking, we require a 50% non-refundable deposit, with the remaining balance due on the day of the service. Bookings are made on a first-come, first-served basis, so we recommend booking early, especially for peak wedding seasons and weekends.
Do you provide door-to-door service, and is there a travel fee?
Yes, we offer convenient door-to-door service. The travel fee depends on your location, and for destinations outside of Ipoh or Malaysia, additional charges for accommodation and transportation may apply. Contact us for a custom travel quote.
Do you offer trial makeup sessions?
Yes, I highly recommend trial makeup sessions for brides. Trials are available for an additional fee and are usually scheduled on weekdays. This allows us to test and perfect your desired look before the big day. If a trial is not possible, we can have a detailed consultation at my studio or via a phone/Zoom call to discuss your vision, skin concerns, and style preferences.
What makeup brands do you use?
I only use high-quality, professional makeup brands to ensure flawless results that last all day and photograph beautifully. Some of the brands I use include Christian Dior, MAC, Shu Uemura, Bobbi Brown, NARS, Laura Mercier, and more. My kit is always updated with the latest and most effective products to cater to different skin types, tones, and preferences.
Do you provide bridal accessories?
Yes, I offer a selection of beautiful rental bridal accessories, including necklaces, earrings, and bracelets, to complement your look. These accessories are available on a rental basis and must be returned within 14 days after your event. A security deposit may be required, which will be refunded upon the return of the accessories in good condition.
What happens if you’re unable to attend my wedding due to an emergency?
In the very unlikely event of an emergency where I am personally unable to attend, I have a team of highly trained makeup artists who will be able to step in and provide the same level of service you expect. Rest assured, you’ll be in safe and professional hands.
What if I have sensitive skin or allergies?
If you have sensitive skin or known allergies, please inform me during your consultation or trial session. I will make sure to use hypoallergenic products suitable for your skin type. If you have specific products you prefer or would like me to use, you’re welcome to bring them, and I’ll gladly incorporate them into your look.
Do you offer stay-back services for touch-ups?
Yes, I offer stay-back services for brides who need touch-ups during their wedding dinner or reception. This service includes makeup touch-ups and any necessary hairstyling adjustments. Additional fees apply depending on the length of time needed and the level of service required.
Do you offer makeup and hairstyling classes?
Yes, I offer a range of personal makeup and hairstyling classes for individuals or small groups. These classes range from basic techniques to advanced artistry, perfect for anyone who wants to master makeup for personal use or even start a career in the beauty industry. For convenience, I also share free tutorials and tips on my YouTube channel for those looking to learn online.
Do you work overseas?
Yes, I accept international bookings. For overseas jobs, all travel and accommodation expenses must be covered. This includes round-trip airfare, local transportation, and hotel accommodation for the duration of the service. I’ve worked with international brides and clients from countries such as Singapore, Australia, England, USA, Kazakhstan, and more.
Can I make changes to my booking?
Minor changes such as updates to the time can be accommodated, but significant changes, such as a date change, may require re-booking depending on availability. The deposit is non-refundable, so any major changes might affect your deposit. I recommend securing your date and finalizing details early to avoid last-minute adjustments.
How far in advance should I book your services?
To avoid disappointment, I recommend booking as early as possible, especially for peak wedding seasons and weekends. Many brides book several months in advance, so if you have a specific date in mind, it’s best to reach out early to secure your spot.
Do you offer services for non-bridal events?
Yes, I provide makeup and hairstyling for various occasions, including dinners, proms, graduations, birthday parties, corporate events, and themed parties like Halloween. Whether it’s an elegant look for a formal event or a fun, creative makeover for a themed party, I can help you achieve your desired look.
How long does the makeup session take?
On average, bridal makeup and hairstyling take between 2 to 3 hours, depending on the complexity of the look and hairdo. For larger bridal parties or special occasions, please allocate sufficient time for each person. I will work closely with you to create a schedule that ensures everything runs smoothly on your big day.
